At the 2017 British International Studies Association Annual Conference, Politics discussed the recent Special Section, edited by Penny Griffin (UNSW Sydney), on ‘Post’ interventions. This Special Section addresses postcoloniality, poststructuralism and questions of ‘after’ in world politics.
In our videos authors discuss their articles and the contributions they make to the debate about the various sense of ‘post’ in international politics. The videos address: the colonial and postcolonial formation of Afghanistan (Nivi Manchanda, Queen Mary, University of London): the politics of accountability in the UK Iraq War Inquiry (Owen Thomas, University of Exeter); crisis and dislocation (Dirk Nabers, Kiel University); and the aftermath of the 2008 financial crisis (Penny Griffin, UNSW Sydney).
